Pan-Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients:
- Brussels sprouts, trimmed and quartered, allowing some leaves to separate.
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced.
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped.
- 4 tbsp olive oil.
- 1 tsp sugar of your choice (I used a sugar substitute, I chose monk fruit).
- 3/4 tsp sea salt.
- 1/4 tsp pepper.
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes.
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
- In a bowl, mix the garlic, oil, rosemary, sugar substitute or sugar of your choice, sea salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
- Add the mixture to the Brussels sprouts and mix well until the vegetables are perfectly coated.
- Place the vegetables in a cast-iron skillet.
- Bake for 35 minutes (at the 15-minute mark, use tongs to move the vegetables around so they brown perfectly).
