Cast-iron skillet chocolate chip cookie
This is a recipe you must learn once you have a cast-iron skillet, as it will save you from those dessert or chocolate cravings, and it is very simple to prepare, even if you are not an expert in the kitchen.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons of oil or melted butter
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons of sweetener or 1/3 cup of panela
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 2/3 cup of oat flour
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- A splash of milk
- Semi-sweet chocolate
- A pinch of sea salt
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the oil or melted butter, the egg, and the sweetener you have chosen.
- Add the oat flour, baking soda, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- Add a splash of milk and mix again until incorporated into the batter.
- Grease your cast-iron skillet and add the mixture.
- Chop the semi-sweet chocolate and add it on top of the batter.
- Finally, add a pinch of sea salt.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees (Celsius).
