Sesame-crusted salmon in a cast-iron skillet
Ingredients
- Salmon fillets
- Black and white sesame seeds
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the sauce
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon almond or peanut butter, whichever you have on hand
Preparation
- Cut the salmon fillets and add salt and pepper, massaging them so it is well absorbed and flavorful.
- In a bowl, prepare the sauce by adding the described ingredients and mixing them very well until fully combined.
- Coat the entire surface of the salmon with this sauce, as if you were painting it.
- On a plate, add black and white sesame seeds generously, and place the fillets on top so they are completely covered by the sesame layer.
- Heat your Victoria skillet and add sesame oil. Sear on all sides so the sesame seeds become toasted while the inside reaches the perfect doneness for you to enjoy your salmon.
