What is white enameling?
White enamel is a vitrified porcelain coating applied to cast iron, creating a smooth, durable surface that requires no seasoning. This finish protects the metal against oxidation, facilitates cleaning, and prevents the absorption of odors and flavors, allowing for more hygienic and versatile cooking. Furthermore, as it is free of cadmium and other toxic chemicals, it is a safe and healthy option for cooking.
