Skillet Chicken Breast with Blue Cheese Sauce Victoria
A novel way to prepare meals in our Victoria Skillet: Chicken with blue cheese sauce, perfect for surprising your family with a very elegant touch and very distinct flavors.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil.
- 6 chicken breast fillets.
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed into a paste.
- 1 white onion, julienned.
- 1 tablespoon paprika.
- 2 tablespoons wheat flour.
- Zest and juice of one lemon.
- 500 ml chicken stock.
- 250 ml sour cream.
- 80g blue cheese.
- 60g butter.
- Salt and pepper.
Preparation
- Add the two tablespoons of olive oil to our Victoria Skillet and quickly sauté the chicken fillets on both sides. Season with salt and pepper.
- Melt the butter, sauté the julienned onion, and add the garlic paste.
- Once the onion strips are tender, add the paprika and wheat flour.
- Turn off the heat, add the chicken stock, and stir very well until you have a homogeneous mixture without lumps before returning to the heat.
- Turn the heat back on and add the sour cream, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Add the blue cheese so it begins to melt.
- Place the chicken fillets on top of the sauce.
- Preheat the oven to 360°F and place our skillet inside for 35 to 40 minutes.
You can add more grated blue cheese over our chicken.
