Maintenance after each use
After washing and cleaning, it is important that you season the stove; this will help build the natural non-stick layer.
Apply a layer of fat (vegetable oil, animal fat) and leave the utensil on the stove over medium-high heat. The oil will begin to emit a white smoke; at that moment, turn off the heat.
Use a paper towel to remove excess oil from the inner surface of the utensil. If you see that the utensil is left with stains, you can apply a couple of coats of oil again, always thin and even, heat until white smoke appears, turn off, and let cool.
Once the utensil has cooled, store it avoiding stacking; if you must, use a paper towel between each one to prevent knocks that could cause cracks in the enamel.
